Rémy and Vincent Colin are heirs to an ancestral skill: the manufacture of escutes and bacôves. These traditional wooden boats were used from the early 18th century by local market gardeners.
Today, the craftsmen open the doors of their workshop and offer guided boat tours of the Saint-Omer marshes, boats for hire and a change of scenery in the middle of the fields (waterside terrace, Flemish games, locavore estaminet, etc.).
Meals by the water at lunchtime can be booked in fine weather.
