Today, almost nothing remains of Clairmarais Abbey, apart from the superb farmhouse, most of which dates back to the 17th century. It is in this magnificent setting that our project is taking shape, to brew good craft beers, but not only that... because these places are unique and full of history, our ambition is :
- to brew abbey-style beers, as Clairmarais Abbey once housed a brewery;
- to tell you the story of Clairmarais Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1140;
- to offer you a unique range of tourist activities combining tradition, heritage, local crafts, nature, walking and discovery, for individuals and companies;
- to pass on to you our local approach to production and partnership.
In short, our aim is to help you discover this exceptional place and to share with you our passion for beer, the history of our abbey and our values!
