Rémy and Vincent Colin are heirs to an ancestral skill: the manufacture of escutes and bacôves. These traditional wooden boats were used from the early 18th century by local market gardeners. Today, the craftsmen open the doors of their workshop and offer guided boat tours of the Saint-Omer marshes, boat hire, regional meals in their estaminet and a change of scenery in the middle of the fields (waterside terrace, Flemish games, locavore estaminet, etc.). Lunch by the waterside is available by prior arrangement in fine weather.
